Andy Blanchard is a full-time potter in Truckee, CA.  Andy has had a passion for working with clay since 2004.  Over the years he has refined the chatter mark technique that you see in his work.  Using custom tools that he fashions out of hacksaw blades, a unique design is created on every piece and can never be duplicated. He finishes his work by spraying on glazes that he’s personally crafted to accentuate the detail of his style.  When Andy is not in the studio, he is usually snowboarding, playing disc golf, hiking, or brewing beer.
